Old Patio Wall Out, Clean Paver Patio In

Some backyards just need a reset. Not a total overhaul - just a smarter layout and cleaner execution. That's exactly what this project was about. The old patio wall was removed and we rebuilt the entire space from the ground up with a paver patio that actually fits how the yard works.

Here's what we were working with: a basic flat patio with gravel edging and no real defined shape. It functioned, but barely. The wall was dated and the layout didn't give the homeowner much to work with. Tearing it out and starting fresh was the right call.

What we ended up with is a raised paver patio with a curved retaining wall border and decorative rock infill along the edges. The shape flows with the yard instead of fighting it. The raised design also gives the whole space a finished, intentional look that the original setup never had.
